Direction: Out Old A75, return Dalbeattie Rd

Distance: 33 Miles.

This is a fantastic route. The 'Old Military Rd' is an excellent undulating road with hills all over it, and very low traffic. You pass through Lochfoot, Milton, Hardgate, Haugh of Urr wich all act as good reference points on your trip. There's a few descents you can really fly on, and of course a few ascents to test you legs. For variety you can return via Bridge of Urr, but I like returning on the same road. It seems like a different road on the way back.
